I never mentioned pattern buying in my New Year's resolutions....

Which is just as well as when I visited Spotlight they were having a 50% off all patterns sale. This being a once -a-year type of thing I felt totally justified in getting some new Kwik Sew patterns I had been eyeing off for a while:

The Simplicity dress resulted from reading kbenco's review of it on SPR, plus it has extra bust pieces included for different cup sizes. That means (hopefully) not having to do a full bust alteration on this one - yay!

I also picked up some cheap trim in the hope of making more skirts and maybe embellishing them this time.

All in all a good time was had by me, and I didn't buy one piece of fabric.....
