Slowly slowly catching up on all the missed birthday and Christmas gifts I owe ( a little late for Christmas but better late than never right?). Morning sickness and general tiredness have finally eased up -thank goodness- and I seem to have got my crafting groove back :)
Here's a pair of earrings I whipped for my friend Aiden (who loves pearls) :
Materials used: dyed freshwater pearls (from Lincraft), tigertail, metal crimps and sterling silver hooks.
Originally I wanted to have the pearls on silver tone wire head pins, however freshwater pearl beads quite often have very small drill holes (as was the case here), so had to use the tigertail and crimps instead.
Tigertail can give a more "modern" or "industrial" look, depending on how its used, but I think the overall look worked here :)
All up these were very quick and easy to make - maybe no more than 15 minutes in total.
Wrapped and ready to go! :
