Pretty (costly) garden flowers

A close up of a shrub currently in flower in my garden(not sewing related but pretty):

Maybe it's a Viburnum? Not sure.
I quite like the pink buds and white flowers popping through at the moment, even if they do drop all over my kitchen bench once cut:

Unfortunately the hedge that these flowers came from has now become quite a costly feature in our garden, with one of the roots lifting and cracking a mains water pipe :(

Six months later and the resulting water bill that we now have could easily paid for a new whiz-bang embroidery machine or a reasonably good mid priced sewing machine, overlocker and dressmaker's dummy package...with change to spare :O
Moral of story- keep an eye on your water meter folks!
I know we will be now on...
